Privacy policy

Last updated 21 October 2026.

This page explains what we do with your details when you contact Admisonian EduCare. In short, we use them to help you find the right college and get admitted. We don't sell them, and you can ask us to show, correct or delete them at any time. The policy follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.

Who we are

Admisonian EduCare is an education consultancy run by Dhananjay Chandra. We help students from north India get into nursing, pharmacy, teaching, paramedical, agriculture and medical and allied colleges. Under the law we are the "Data Fiduciary" for your details, which means we decide how they are used and we answer for them.

If you have any question about your data, contact Dhananjay Chandra, our Proprietor, directly:

This policy applies to everything you share with us, whether it comes through our website, a Facebook or Instagram ad, WhatsApp, a phone call, email, a visit to our office, or one of our associates or referral partners. It covers students, parents and guardians, and our partners.

What we collect

We ask only for what we need to guide you and apply on your behalf. We never ask for payment details, because our service is free for students. College fees are paid only into the college's own account.

When you send an enquiry. On our website or in a Facebook or Instagram lead form, we ask for your name, mobile number, the course you're interested in, your state, and whether you are the student or a parent or guardian. Ad forms may also ask for your district, Class 12 stream, year of passing and whether you are 18 or older. On our website you can add your highest qualification, year passed, district, email and a message, but you don't have to.

When you WhatsApp, call or email us. We have your number or email address and whatever you choose to tell us. If the chat started from one of our ads, we can see that too.

When we apply to a college for you. We collect the documents that college asks for. This usually means marksheets, certificates, identity proof, photographs, your address and date of birth, your parent's or guardian's details, and a category or domicile certificate if the college needs one. For identity proof we ask for a masked Aadhaar, with the first eight digits hidden, unless the college or an authority needs the full number.

When an associate or referral partner introduces you. They pass on your name, mobile number, course of interest and anything else you agreed to share, or your parent agreed to if you're under 18.

When you visit our website. We note which page your enquiry came from and any campaign tags in the link. If you accept the Meta pixel, Meta also collects data about your visit (see "Cookies, analytics and the Meta pixel" below).

If you are a partner or associate. We collect your name, mobile number, organisation, email, state and a short description of your work. Fields marked as required on our forms are needed to process your enquiry; the rest are up to you.

Why we use your details

We use your details for the purposes below and nothing else. We won't use them for something unrelated to your admission without asking you first.

  • To reply to your enquiry by call or WhatsApp about the course you asked about.
  • To counsel you: we check your eligibility and shortlist colleges based on your marks, state and budget, and give you the shortlist in writing.
  • To apply and get you admitted, only at colleges you choose. That includes filling in forms, checking documents, tracking deadlines and helping you when you report to the college.
  • To remind you about dates, results and counselling rounds for your course by call, SMS or WhatsApp.
  • To keep records of your consent, of the work we did for you and of our dealings with colleges, as the law expects.

Two more uses are optional. We ask you about each one separately, and saying no doesn't affect your enquiry in any way.

  • Telling you about other courses, for example B.Ed options after you asked about nursing.
  • Measuring our ads. If your enquiry came from a Facebook or Instagram ad, we may let Meta know when it reaches a stage such as counselling, so our ads reach people who are more likely to need us. We share only Meta's own reference for your enquiry and the stage it reached. We never do this for anyone under 18.

Who we share your details with

We share only what each person or company needs for the purposes above.

  • Colleges you choose get your application details and documents, for that college only. From then on, the college handles your data under its own privacy policy.
  • Our associates and referral partners get only what they need to meet you, collect documents or help you locally, and they act on our instructions.
  • Our service providers (our website form service, our lead database or CRM, email and WhatsApp Business) process data for us, on our instructions.
  • Meta (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp) receives our ad lead forms, our WhatsApp chats and the ad measurement data described above. Meta also handles data under Meta's Privacy Policy.
  • Government bodies get only what the law requires us to share.

When associates or service providers handle your details for us, we are still responsible for them. They work under written terms that limit them to these purposes and require them to keep your data safe.

If you are under 18

Many students who contact us are 17. The law treats anyone under 18 as a child, so we need a parent's or legal guardian's consent before we use a child's details.

If you tell us you're under 18, we'll ask for your parent's or guardian's contact details and talk to them before we counsel you or apply anywhere for you. We check that the parent or guardian is an adult, using identity and age details they give us or a verified digital token such as DigiLocker, and we keep a record of their consent. Until then, we use your details only to reach them.

We don't track or build profiles of anyone under 18. We never use a child's details for advertising, ad audiences or ad measurement. A parent or guardian can withdraw consent at any time, and we will then stop using the child's details.

Your consent, and how to take it back

We use your details because you agreed to it, either by ticking the consent options on our forms or by saying yes when we spoke to you.

You can change your mind at any time, and it's as easy as saying yes was:

  • Reply STOP on WhatsApp, or tell us on a call, and we'll stop sending you updates and offers.
  • Email admisonian@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 93153 76695 to withdraw all your consent.

We'll stop using your details within 7 days, and we'll ask our associates and service providers to stop too. Anything we did before you withdrew stays valid. If you withdraw in the middle of an application, we may not be able to finish it for you.

Cookies, analytics and the Meta pixel

Our website uses an analytics tool that sets no cookies and can't identify you. The Meta pixel loads only if you accept it in the notice on our site. It tells Meta which of our pages you visited so we can measure and improve our ads, and you can switch it off again by clearing this site's data in your browser. The Google Map on our site may set Google's own cookies, which Google controls.

How long we keep your details

We keep your details only as long as we need them and then delete them. We delete them sooner if you withdraw consent, and keep them longer only if the law requires it.

Lead form submissions from our Facebook and Instagram ads stay in Meta's tools only for a limited time. Any copies we download follow the periods above.

How we keep your details safe

Your details are kept in our lead database or CRM, and each team member can see only what their work needs. Accounts that hold your data use passwords and two-step sign-in, and we keep a log of who opened what. Our team, associates and service providers handle data only under written terms, and we don't pass lead lists around in group chats.

If a data breach affects you, we'll tell you straight away: what happened, what it could mean for you, what we're doing about it and what you can do. We'll also report it to the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • show you a summary of the details we hold about you, how we use them and who we've shared them with
  • correct anything that's wrong, incomplete or out of date
  • delete your details once they're no longer needed for the purpose you gave them for, or after you withdraw consent
  • look into a complaint about how we've handled your data

You can also nominate someone to use these rights for you if you die or become unable to use them yourself. If you're under 18, your parent or guardian can use these rights for you.

To make a request or a complaint, email admisonian@gmail.com, WhatsApp +91 93153 76695 from the number you gave us, or write to our Delhi office. Tell us your name and the mobile number we have for you so we can find your record. We may ask you a question to make sure it's really you.

We'll reply within 2 working days to confirm we've received your request, and sort it out within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. You'll need to go through our process first.

Your part

The law also expects you to give us true information, not to pretend to be someone else, and not to make false or frivolous complaints. If you give us someone else's details, such as a parent's number, please make sure they're happy for you to do so.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this policy when our practices or the law change, and change the date at the top. If an update affects how we use details you've already given us, we'll tell you by WhatsApp or SMS and ask for your consent again where it's needed. This policy is available in English and Hindi.
