BPT: Bachelor of Physiotherapy
The five-year physiotherapy degree, and the one paramedical course where NEET has been put back a year.

The four-year laboratory degree (now specified by UGC as B.MLS) that trains the people who run the diagnostic tests.

None for the 2026-27 session. NCAHP's curriculum named NEET as the basis of admission, and Corrigendum-1 of 20 March 2026 replaced that with a merit list from your 10+2 marks. Admission is on that merit list; an individual university may run its own process, so we confirm the route for the college you are considering.

Medical laboratory technologists run the tests that medicine depends on: blood work, microbiology, histopathology, transfusion services. Of the paramedical courses, this is the one with the widest spread of employers: hospitals, diagnostic chains, blood banks, public health and research laboratories.
The name has changed, the course has not. Everyone still calls it BMLT. UGC’s degree notification of 27 August 2026 specifies the qualification a college awards as B.MLS: Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science. If a prospectus says BMLT and a degree certificate says B.MLS, that is the same thing.
No NEET. NCAHP’s curriculum originally named NEET as the basis of admission; in March 2026 the Commission corrected it, and admission is now on a merit list from your 10+2 marks. If a coaching centre tells you NEET is compulsory for laboratory technology, this is the document to show them.
You need 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology at 50% in those three together, and the National Open School is accepted on the same terms.
