10+2 with Science, with at least 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and a pass in English, 40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates. English is compulsory at 10+2. You must be 17 by 31 December of the year you take admission and not over 35, with the upper limit relaxed by five years for candidates with a disability. Candidates from NIOS and state open schools are eligible if they took Science and English. Married candidates are eligible. Colour blind candidates are eligible if they wear corrective contact lenses or spectacles. You must be medically fit.
Selection is on the merit of an entrance test conducted by the university or the state government: aptitude for nursing, physics, chemistry, biology and English, 20 marks each. The bar is the 50th percentile for general candidates, the 45th percentile for general candidates with a disability, and the 40th percentile for SC, ST and OBC candidates. That is a percentile, not a percentage. It is where you rank against everyone who sat the test, not your marks out of 100. Which test your destination state uses is set by that state, so we confirm it before you apply.

B.Sc. Nursing is the degree route into nursing. You study anatomy, physiology, medical and surgical nursing, community health and midwifery, with clinical postings in a teaching hospital throughout.
Most of the seats we work with are in Karnataka, where our Bengaluru team handles reporting at the college and document verification when you arrive, and stays reachable afterwards, which for a family sending a child two thousand kilometres from home is usually the part that matters most.
Entrance-exam rules for B.Sc. Nursing are not the same in every state and have changed in recent years. We confirm the current position for your destination state before advising you.
Two dates INC fixes, which are worth planning around. The semester starts on 1 August, and no admission may be made after 30 September. INC goes further and says a student admitted after that date will not be issued a hall ticket, so a late seat is not a seat at all. If a college is still offering you admission in October, ask them how you will sit your examination.
